I was asked to assist in the Editoral shoot and video for Niamh McGovern's Graduate collection. As well as being a set assistant I was able to contribute creatively with taking photos on my film camera (which I used in the editorial above) and also with some videography which was used in the final video. This project was a lot of fun. I loved the collection and concept behind it. I decided to create this editorial to showcase my work during this project and well as a fun passion project.

Original Designs for Eriu Designs

I co founded Eriú Designs in 2020 while in my second year of university, with a friend who studied fashion design. During the 'lockdown' we felt we had a lot of creative energy we didn't know what to do with. We channeled this energy and our individual skills into creating Eriú Designs, a luxury silk scarf brand.

We choose scarves for their versatility. It is a product that reached a wide market, from a statement piece for older women to a fun accessory for younger women. Another core principal to our brand was to empower women. We wanted our product to inspire confidence and to celebrate femininity. This lead us to incorporating the names of Irish goddesses in our designs and lead to the inspiration for our name 'Eriú', the goddess of Ireland.

After creating the designs my roles included organisating product shoots, photography, Photoshop editing, and managing our social accounts and website.
